Superior
Poker Review
ATTENTION: Superior Poker Room is now closed. The online poker industry has
seeen some very rough patches over the last year and Superior Poker was one of
the casualties.
The very first thing that I liked about Superior
Poker was the transparency of their website. First of all, the New Player Bonus
Coupon Code was listed right there on their Promotions page for all to see.
For me, this makes things a lot more easier than having to go track down a bonus
code when you are trying to make your first deposit. At the time I signed
up it was a 50% bonus up to $250 Free, which I know was long running and so may
still be around. Cruising through their website, I have to say I was
impressed. Everything I wanted to know (House Rules and tournament
information) was explained very simply and to the point. Their list of
games is better than most online poker rooms, offering Guts Poker, Chinese
Poker, Big 2 and Pan - none of which I played though since I am diehard for
Texas Holdem (and one day I probably will die playing Texas Holdem).
Okay...so everything looked fabulous so far - I was
especially excited about signing up at one of their many tournaments. So I
start to download their software, which was finished in just seconds. This
is where things got a little hairy. I thought the download was complete
because I was looking straight into the poker room lobby screen. However,
there was this BIG link that said "New User Click Here" Being ever so
mindful of my status, I clicked on the link. When I did, all that came up
was a little popup screen with all of my personal information I just filled out
with a little side message that said pick a unique user-name. Thinking
that somebody already had my common name of rychi??? I typed in another name -
only this time, a message came up saying my email was already in use. Now
that I am thinking somebody already stole my email address I decide to give
their Live Support feature a go.
LIVE SUPPORT
The Live Support was pretty good
until the closed their doors.
TABLE ACTION
Superior Table action is no
longer....
