Party Poker to Offer
Room Tables to Intertops
PartyGaming's plan to take over the world is starting to
materialize, which for me, in a way seems like this
too-carefully-plotted, giant mastermind plan gradually unfolding and
seeking to conquer and destroy anyone in its past. I know,
this is a news article and not an editorial - I just can't help it.
PartyGaming's latest move has been a buyout of its white label
partner, Multipoker, for $14.5 million in cash, which gives
PartyGaming all of Multipoker's assets, including their players and
all intellectual property.
Meanwhile, Empire Poker is left to its own devices - in the dust if
you will - desperately hoping that PartyGaming will buy them out as
well. Although this is still very likely, PartyGaming has
other fish to fry first. Along with the acquisition of
Multipoker, Partygaming has now gotten Intertops Poker to be an
affiliate, which means that Party Poker will be offering their
tables to Intertops players over the next year.
Coral Eurobet probably sensed a takeover and so left the network of
PartyGaming sites to be on their own. They now are operating
very independently of one another, while Coral Eurobet continues to
merge its customers into a newly developed poker playing platform.
As for Empire Poker, financial analysts agree they can stand on
their own two feet for the time being, and that PartyGaming's recent
move, which seems like a stab in the back, will not greatly affect
Empire. However, it is only a matter of time before
PartyGaming does something with Empire. Now that the
Scandinavian market has been cornered by PartyGaming, there plans to
integrate one giant poker playing platform are almost complete.
