Everest Hosts European
Poker Tour Satellites
The European Poker Tour
may not receive as much coverage as the World Poker Tour - However,
it is quite the big tournament promising a large pot to the winner.
The final event on the tour will be hosted in Monte Carlo, Monaco at
the Monte Carlo Bay Hotel and Casino Resort, and will take place
from March 8 though March 11. The buy-in is for 10,000 euros,
which many online poker players can get paid for free by winning a
satellite tournament.
Everest Poker is one
such satellite host, and is holding initial tournaments leading into
their final main $100+$9 satellite tournament right now. Some
of these include a handful of free rolls to Everest Pokers final
satellite, as well as $11+$1 satellites and rebuys as low as
$2+$.20.
For those poker players
unfamiliar with Everest, this poker room has not been online as long
as some of the more established rooms like Party Poker.
However, they have been developing a good reputation with their
players, and are powered by a legitimate and established software
manufacturer going by the name of Grand Virtual.
As for the European
Poker Tour, there are several other destinations leading up to the
finale held in Monaco. Everest Poker is also giving away seats
to these - although not as coveted as the championship at the Monte
Carlo Bay Hotel and Casino. Some of these stops included the
Scandinavian Open at Casino Copenhagen in Denmark, January 20-22,
2006, as well as the French Open, which is to be held at the
Deauville Casino in France at the beginning of the second week in
February.
Interested entrants can
visit Everest Poker's website for more details on the satellite
tournaments. However, calling customer support with your
questions might be a better option if you are not sure about opening
an account with Everest. The only other way to get updated
tournament information is to download the software platform and open
a free and/or practice account.
