It’s beginning to look a lot like Christmas – which means the poker player in your life is going to be looking for that certain something that is sure to ring their bells. There are many options out there due to the popularity of poker these days, so when looking know that you have many choices.

The options that follow are just a few things that they might like, and are not meant to be representative of all the best things out there. There are poker players who might like one of these items and there are some that won’t, just remember who you are purchasing for.

There is a book that is easily considered one of the best sources for playing poker out there. The Super System by Doyle Brunson is the poker lover’s Bible. There is a new version out, the Super System II, which is an updated version, but for any poker player out there it is a must read.

There is also the Championship No Limit and Pot Limit Hold’em by T.J. Cloutier and Tom McEvoy. There should be no doubt that they are experts in the field of poker, considering between the two of them they have taken ten World Series of Poker bracelets. This is only one of the four books that they have written together, but this is easily considered by many to be the best of the books. If you are interested in poker tournament play then this book is a must read.
