New Poker Deals
December 10, 2008
Full Tilt Poker and the World
Poker Tour have signed a deal that would make Full Tilt Poker the exclusive
online poker sponsor of the World Poker Tour’s seventh season. The season
runs in Mexico and on Fox Sports, and this contract is quite a coo for the
poker site.
The most surprising part of the deal though is how big the players are. Some
were not surprised at all that they would team up to become one bigger poker
entity, while others thought that it could become a competition between the
two first to see who was top dog.
The deal stipulates that Full Tilt Poker will get title sponsorship and
exclusive rights to all of the educational gaming in-show advertising. The
deal is for the seventh season only, which is going to run 26 episodes. The
World Poker Tour said that they could not be happier with the pairing, and
that by bringing together their brands that they have the best of both
worlds. They have brought their total fans together to give them an
experience like none other.
The combination of the two poker giants will also enable them to make the
experience bigger than ever before. It will help them to meet more players
and grow their player base to a massive following that they could not have
accomplished alone. They will be able to introduce those that might not have
known who they were to a much larger audience. There are no losers in this
poker game, with the audience and the companies both winning big.
