New Poker Room
December 23, 2008
Binion’s Gambling Hall and Casino has long boasted that they are the “place
that made poker famous.” There are classic poker photos that are on every
wall, and when the receptionists at the casino answer the phone they say
that catch phrase every time.
Well, it seems that they have decided to kick it up a notch. The casino has
added a new poker room that brings together the new and the old in a way
that players are simply going to love. The poker room will have all the
latest luxuries that players want when playing, but they will also be
kicking it old school with some class, elegance and nostalgia that only a
place like Binion’s could deliver.
The poker room is going to have ten tables, and will be hosted in what used
to be a lounge in the Downtown Las Vegas casino. They are planning on
hosting regular $1-$2, $3-$6, and $2-$4 poker games that are no limit
Hold’em as well as $4-$8 H.O.R.S.E. They will also offer any poker game that
a player asks for.
They say that the poker room might be new but the thought and perseverance
that goes into it is not. They will still be upholding the same values and
prospects that they have before, while not bringing in any old tables, etc.
for the game room. They wanted it to be high class, and high class poker is
what their players will be getting.
The room has privacy which poker players will love, as well as 11 plasma
TV’s and tableside food service. The new room is truly a poker lover’s
dream.
