Italians Like Real Money Poker

Playtech is taking their poker on the road. The poker software provider has been trying out a “pay for fun” operation in the Italian market and has decided to make it public. The company is taking it one step further and making it a “play for real money” for the Italian market and it is assumed it will be a hit.

The poker market in Italy has been expanding exponentially lately, and Playtech knows that if they want to be smart they have to get in on the ground floor. They have successfully gotten their license agreements with some of the biggest names in Italian poker - Snai s.r.l., Gala Coral's Eurobet Italia SpA , Sisal SpA and Cogetech SpA, and they have all signed on excited about the prospects of the future. They are all part of the Italian poker network now.

They have all agreed that their poker rooms will follow all Italian regulatory standards, and they will ensure that all “end users are at all times enjoying a fully compliant poker soluition.” The company says that they have been working hard to make this a great place for people to play poker, but now even more dedicated to their Italian poker buddies.

The company says that they have developed the poker network so as to appeal to their Italian counterparts and that they have reworked Playtech to work well with the online casinos. They are also excited about the possibilities of expanding into other countries using this poker model.
