Tutorial Software Gets Upgrade
An upgraded version of
Poker Sidekick has been released by its makers, Royal Flush Club.
Developed to help beginning online poker players learn the game of
Texas Holdem, as well as optimize their playing strategy, Poker
Sidekick is a shareware program that essentially monitors a player
while they play their hands. It actively rates each hand and
advises the player on which hands to fold and which to keep playing.
And rather than bluntly telling a player what action to take, it
explains the reasons why they should take that action, and how to
calculate it for themselves.
According to a press
release, Royal Flush Club claims the Poker Sidekick is relevant
since there has been an increase of players in online poker rooms,
consequently making it harder to keep up with who the poker sharks
are. It is oftentimes the pursuit of other players to take
advantage of less experienced players. This is a great asset
of using the Poker Sidekick before actually placing real money bets
in the poker room. It is also a good way to put one's own
strategy into practice and further develop their skills.
Royal Flush Club says
that the software upgrade helps with even more accurate scoring and
odds calculations, while the overall advice is equivalent to an
intermediate poker player who wins consistently. For very
green players this could be a helpful tool and learning supplement.
The cost is $59 for unlimited use, while three-month subscribers can
get it for $14.95. The upgrade is free for current users for
up to thirty days.
