WPT Offers Solutions

The World Poker Tour had announced that they were severing their relationship with CryptoLogic last month, and instead were putting their focus elsewhere. In doing so though they left many of their online poker players wondering where they should go now that the site was no longer an option.

However, the WPT has taken care of that. They sent an email to their poker players this week letting them know that they should go to InterPoker instead. InterPoker is a popular online poker room that is run by InterCasino and has long had a good reputation for taking good care of their clients.

The email said, “The World Poker Tour wants to make certain that you get access to the best online poker available. To make this happen, we have arranged for some great deals with our partners at InterPoker. InterPoker is one of the best established and most trusted poker rooms online today.”

The poker company assures players that their subscription based online poker room will continue as normal, and they signed a deal with Full Tile Poker ten days ago for sponsorship. The poker company said they were experiencing “disappointing returns” from their poker site and felt that it was in their best interest to put their money and their focus on other options within the company.

They said that they felt it was smarter to exit the online poker business and instead work on distributing the World Poker Tour television series, among other ideas. They have many other irons in the fire that they expect will serve them much better.
