Pure Play, easily the largest legal play for cash online poker destination in the United States, has just finished their fourth 2009 World Series of Poker tournament. They awarded another seat to the Main Event that takes place next July in Las Vegas. The poker site has been giving away these poker seats, worth $10,000, monthly – and the best part is that they don’t require any buy ins or deposits of any kind.

Their CEO, Jason Kellerman, says that hundreds of players have been “jumping” at the chance to get in there and play for that poker seat. Their members say that they would not otherwise have a chance at going to the poker game as they cannot afford to pay for it themselves. Being able to play without putting a dime on the line is invaluable to these players in this economy.

Players can literally have a chance at winning a multimillion dollar jackpot without having put any of their own money down, thus they walk away only richer for having had the opportunity to play. Their latest winner is Douglas Clark of Kennett Square, Pennsylvania. He has been a member since 2006 and did not expect to win. He was hoping he would, but faced with the other competition he assumed he would not.

The poker site is quick to point out that Clark is just one of many that will get free entry to the “World’s Most Prestigious Poker Tournament.” They said that last year they sent the largest number of competitors to the World Series of Poker and they hope to do that again this year. They expect that with the excitement growing surrounding the poker games that the games will start to get even better than they have been.
