Poker Dream Team

The Hard Rock Casino in Las Vegas, Nevada is going to be the site of the unveiling of the first Dream Team in poker. November 7-9th will be the event of a lifetime and one not to be missed. The first Dream Team poker tournament event will take place on November 7th, with the final table occurring on November 9th.

The new poker model is casino friendly, and it allows for players of all skills to win money as there are now two ways to win. They can win as part of the team, and they can win individually. In this first event there will be 25 teams of three players each. Each of the teams will put up $3,000 or $1,000 per person.

The majority of the prize pool will go to those players that end up in the top four players, and then the rest of the money will be split among the four teams that have the best scores. This way even if you are part of a great team, but may not make it to the final four, you can still win a great cash prize.

Conversely if you are one of the top four players and your team has done well you will be rewarded twice as you will get money for your top prize win and as being part of the team.

As a player is eliminated, they are scored with the place that they finished in. The 21st player will get 21 points, etc. Each team gets to use their top two scores and the team with the lowest score wins. Let’s say that your team’s players finish 3rd, 5th and 13th. You get rid of the number 13, and now you have 8 points. Not only is your team going to see a prize, but so is the member of your team that came in 3rd.
