James Sudworth, a native of Molash, Canterbury, Kent, is the latest online
winner of the Ladbrokes Poker Tournaments. The 22 year old plays under the
name of James666 and has been doing very well for himself on the poker site.
He recently entered the Ladbrokes European Online Championship of Poker IV
and did quite well for himself.
The poker tournament had 16 events, and Sudworth entered seven of them. He
says that being a “cash game player” he likes the “deep-stack, long-blind
tournaments.” He says that the poker games at Ladbrokes are exactly what he
likes and that other sites are not as challenging for him. He played the
Deepstack for 11 hours and came out on top and the $1,000 main event where
he came home with $22,000 after 13 hours.
He says that although not every hand he made was met with favorable reviews,
he knows how to play an aggressive game of poker. He says that there was one
hand where he was criticized for the way he played it, but he felt that
there was nothing wrong with the play of the hand. The play cracked aces and
he was criticized for making the call preflop, but he played it to the best
of his ability and he won the pot for $37,000.
By playing it the way he had, he ended up with a huge edge going into the
rest of the game, and put him ahead of his opponents. The game ended with
him coming in first place and taking home $18,650 for the top prize.
