Many think that the amount of money that can be won in a live poker tournament is a significant amount. They know that millions can be won at any of those poker shows they see on TV, and it seems as though if you want to win a lot of money in poker you have to go to Las Vegas or Atlantic City.

Free poker tournaments are also a good way to practice your skills before you go to the real money ones. There are many online poker games that will let you do that, while the land based ones don’t exist unless you are in someone’s basement.
