Jackpot Poker was founded in the town by three men who loved the idea of a new poker company. The men were Wendell Brown, Riley Singletary, and Charles Torrance. The men were all poker players looking for another option.

Between the three of them they had two things going for them that they would need – and that is a passion for the game of poker and the love they had playing it. Add to that their more than 20 years of experience, and you have the makings of a great poker company.

They started the poker company to bring excitement and fun to the town of Carrollton, which has a large college student population. They and the locals all enjoyed a great game of poker, so it was the perfect place to offer it. For many of them it was about the camaraderie that came from playing poker, and for others it was about the cash and prizes.
