Aruba Poker Classic is Back
October 25, 2009
There is nothing a poker player likes more than a tournament to play at.
Ultimate Bet and Absolute Poker are two online poker sites that are well
aware of what their players like. They have joined forces to bring a poker
tournament to their players that is unlike any other out there today.
The Ultimate Bet and Absolute Poker's Aruba Poker Classic is already
underway and is already proving to be one of the most popular events of the
year. Robert Mizrachi is in the lead and has been since the second day of
the tournament. Mizrachi established himself early on as a force to be
reckoned with in this poker classic.
Mizrachi has had a long way to fight back to the poker champion that he was
in 2007. That year he won a total of $1,300,000 which he got from winning
one of the bracelets at a $10, 000 Pot Limit Omaha World Series of Poker
event, as well as coming in fourth in the Poker Stars Caribbean Adventure.
The next year was significantly less for him as he came in 15th place at the
$25,000 World Poker Tour World Championship earning him just a little over
$400,000. So far this year are he has not earned more than $6000 in prize
winnings.
As he is already among the last 17 players in the poker tournament, he is
guaranteed at least $18,000. However, as he has been the chip leader since
day to it is possible that he could win the poker tournament giving him a
win of $750,000. This would easily eclipse is winnings that he has made
since 2007.
