Next Poker Event is WSOP Europe
September 15, 2009
For the third year in a row, the World Series of Poker
Europe will be holding their annual event. Perhaps not as well known, or as
well attended, as the World Series of Poker that is held in the
United States, it is still a popular event.
Experts are interested to see how many come to the poker event this year, as
last year had brought in the same number of players at it that it had the
year before.
The poker event starts on September 17 in
London. They will be awarding four poker bracelets
throughout the series, with the main event kicking off on September 26. Some
of the best poker players in the world attend these events, so it is always
an exciting place to be.
Events one through three only hold a maximum of 252
players and at the end will award a bracelet. Event number four will bring
in 216 players per day, and it will be televised by ESPN and worldwide.
Speculation by experts says that this year will be the biggest year yet for
the poker event. It is expected that as the economy seems to be rallying,
that more poker players will want to be part of the game.
Those players that are waiting to register for the
poker events one or four, will be assigned their start days later on, if the
maximum capacity is not been reached. With attendance at the poker event to
be at an all-time high, poker players would be well served to register early
or they may miss out on this year's event.
