We have all seen the commercials between the PC and the Mac where they try to show how much better a Mac is than a PC. The commercials are very entertaining, and I am more than sure that they bring in a lot of business for the company. However for those people who like to purchase paid in the online poker playing and online gambling, getting a Mac was not necessarily a good move.
 
The problem seems to be that because there were originally such a plethora of PCs out there and the Macs were in such the minority, that the online poker sites didn't feel that they had a market that they necessarily had to cater to. They did not create software for these poker sites that would be compatible with the Macs because there just wasn't a need. However as more and more computer owners have switched to Macs, the online poker playing and gambling sites have realized their error.
 
But those Mac players are now in for a treat as the online poker site PKR has just released a Mac version of their software so that Apple users can now participate in their poker site. The company’s Chief Executive Officer said that's they were "delighted" to be able to offer this poker software to Mac users. He said that they had received a high demand for access to the poker site from Mac users and felt that it was time that they developed one for them.
 
The Mac version of the poker sites is almost identical to the Windows version. The biggest difference is that the system requirements for a Mac are higher than they are for a PC and you must have an Intel processor if you want customer support.
