Lora Rinner is a poker player. Not only is she a poker player but she's a good one, and soon she will get to show the world how good of a poker player she really is. Rinner has been chosen to appear on the Poker Stars Million Dollar Challenge which is aired on the Fox Network.
 
Rinner had qualified for the poker show by playing online poker at PokerStars.net. She was one of 20 top finalists on the poker site’s website which took her to the next round. Each of those finalists then had to submit a two minute You Tube video of them playing poker with two of their friends.
 
The producers of the Fox Network poker show then reviewed all of the video entries to decide who would be best for the poker show. After an interview the producers decided that she would be one of 11 people to square off against a series of celebrities playing Texas Hold ‘em poker. Those players who make it through the first two rounds will then face Daniel Negreanu.
 
For those unfamiliar with Negreanu, he is easily one of the worlds top poker players. Professionals quake going up against the likes of him, so for amateurs to do it - it will definitely be a stressful poker game. As Rinner continues through the poker rounds, she will collect various amounts of prize money. If she wins the poker competition, she will take home $1 million in cash.
