Full Tilt Poker offered a great weekend for their players. The online
poker site offered several guaranteed prize pools over the weekend, which
brought in thousands of players. Each day over the weekend they offered
something special for their poker players, and got an excellent response for
doing so.
Their Sunday event had 2,413 registered players alone, as well as a prize
pool of $100,000 guaranteed. The top place went to one player after 10 hours
of play, as well as a check for $98,000. Second place was awarded $63,000,
and third-place took $47,000.
Also on Sunday was a $750,000 guaranteed prize pool, which also lasted for
10 hours. First place took home $53,000, second place to come $33,000, and
third-place took home $24,000. These were just the two main tournaments that
the poker site was offering, in addition to all of their other bonuses and
promotions.
They also ran nightly tournaments, at 8 PM each night. They have a $75,000
double stack guaranteed, and the satellites to get into the tournament
started as low as $5.50 for a buy in. There was also a no limit hold ‘em
re-by tournament that was $100 for 1500 chips. Players could buy in up
through level five, and only if they had less than 1500 chips. The add ons
will have the same cost as the original hundred dollars, but will give the
players to thousand chips instead.
Those players lucky enough to participate, said that they had a great time.
