The Bicycle Casino in Los Angeles, California is the host of the World Poker Tour’s Legends of Poker event this evening. The winner of this game will be the champion and will take home $1.1 million for their troubles. Each of the six other top winners will take home a minimum $176,035.

Winners of this event have included such big names as Doyle Brunson and San Harrington. This time around there are two names that are expected to do well: Amit (Amak36) Makhija and Zachary (CrazyZachary) Clark. The final table will play at 4 pm Pacific Time today and you can watch it live on PocketFivesLive.com.

Going into the event, Makhija is the chip leader, which obviously gives him an advantage over the other players. He won a big hand against Ron Jenkins which gave him a large win and took Jenkins out of the game. He also won the $100rebuy on PokerStars in March which netted him a little over $46,000 the same day he finished second in the UltimateBet $200K Guaranteed. He took $27,000 for that win as well. He enters the tournament with 30% of the chips in play.

Clark is in third place with $2 million. He took a large win against Ben Fineman which sent him to the rails in 27th position. He won the Full Tilt Online Poker Series Main Event last August which netted him almost $400,000, and the Full Tilt Poker Sunday Mulligan worth $37,700. He took third in the Super Tuesday on PokerStars worth $32,445 as well.
