Titan Poker has announced the third installment of the European Championship of Online Poker. The tournament series has become an event that many poker players look forward to and this time is no exception.

However, this year they are in for a surprise. The tournament series has gotten even bigger than it has been in the past. Their players are going to be able to compete for fourteen days to take home a portion of $4.5 million.

The guaranteed prize pools have increased in amount this year by a significant amount. Previously they were only $2.5 million, so they have almost doubled the offering.

The first year they held it was December of 2007 and it only lasted ten days. By increasing the number of days for poker events and the amount of money that can be won by the poker players, they are sure to bring in even more of a draw this year than in the past.

The first winner took home $220,000 for first place, and then the second one was held in May of 2008 with a top prize of $315,000. With the pools as high as they are getting it makes players wonder what the next poker tournament will bring.
