APT Comes to Town

The APT Macau poker event will be running at the end of this month, just in time for much to-do over other poker events. The Galaxy StarWorld Casino Resort and Hotel will be hosting the event, and welcomes the opportunity to have the world’s greatest poker players under one roof – theirs.

There will also be a large crowd waiting for the book signing that is taking place during the event. The hotel will be hosting the book signing by US Poker Legend Doyle Brunson, who is considered to be the Godfather of Poker. Brunson has won 10 World Series of Poker bracelets and is easily considered to be one of the best poker players in the world.

There will also be a special charity Celebrity Poker Challenge that will be hosted by Matt Savage – which Brunson is expected to play at. The proceeds from the poker event will go to Caritas De Macau. The event will be puling in both poker stars and others such as boxers and models to play side by side for charity.

The APT Macau event is another poker event unto itself that will see the likes of Johnny Chan, Steve Sung, Huck Seed, JC Tran, and Todd Brunson. They have also sent word to gold medalist and poker fan Michael Phelps to participate although there is no word yet on whether he has taken them up on his offer.
