The Poker Stars Summer Macau Poker Cup finished up this past week and
there were many very pleased poker players going home from it. The Macau
Poker Cup runs through five events on the other side of the world, with a HK
$1 million guaranteed Red Dragon Main Event that players just couldn’t wait
to get their hands on.
The Red Dragon poker event ended up being so popular that the prize pool
ended up being significantly higher than anyone thought that it would be.
They had 168 players sign up to play the poker event, and the pool ended up
being HK$1.6 million instead, or $203,763 in US currency.

was a favorite to win the whole thing after the final tournament. Lin was
fourth place in Event 2, and ended up to win $50,940 and her first win of a
live poker tournament. Her teammate Bryan Huang of Singapore won the Charity
Event that saw the poker proceeds go to the social service agency Caritas
Macau.
