Asian Poker Tour Players Going
July 28, 2008
Titan Poker is planning on sending a team of poker players to the Asian
Poker Tour. The APT has six events planned for this year, and tie year’s
event will take place in Macau, China.
Titan Poker already has nine poker players that have qualified on their
site, and they are planning on sending even more. They are running online
poker super satellites, with the winners getting $9,000 prize packages that
include a seat at the APT Macau Main Event. They will also get their
accommodations at the Star World Hotel taken care of and $3,000 for travel
and spending.
They are running two qualifiers a week, so there will be more poker players
joining the nine that have already qualified. The players that are going to
the poker event come from Japan, Spain, Germany, France, Italy, The
Netherlands and the Czech Republic.
In addition to the APT packages, they are also giving away more than $16
million in monthly prizes. They are running a tournament in September as
well that will have a total prize pool of more than $2.5 million.
