PKR.com and Bluff Media Sign Deal

The online poker room PKR.com has announced that they have signed a deal with Bluff Media that both companies are very thrilled about. The idea is that PKR will now be the exclusive live broadcaster of 24 bracelet events for the World Series of Poker. Needless to say this is quite a large feather for them to have in their cap.

In addition to the deal, European fans get a bonus as well. They get to watch all of the live action completely free of charge. This is amazing, and a deal for them as everyone else will have to pay if they want to be able to take advantage of watching the poker match ups. The most popular event of the poker series is the final table $50,000 World Championship H.O.R.S.E. This poker game is considered by a large portion of the poker community as the “true benchmark” of what it means to be a poker player. They say that if you can win this game, you are a poker player – period.

There are other events, but none as hotly watched as this one. There is also the $10,000 World Championship Heads Up No Limit Hold’em (event #29) and the $10,000 World Championship Pot Limit Omaha (event #41), both of which are very popular poker games. They are attended and watched by a ton of players, but still not as many as H.O.R.S.E.

PKR realizes what a gem it has gotten in this deal – and they are not about to underscore how great it is for them to have gotten it. They know that in all of the poker events that are held in the world, the World Series of Poker is the ultimate test of a true poker player.
