Greyhounds Offering Poker Promotion

Poker players are always on the look out for a new promotion, or a new game that they can play. Online poker playing has taken off as well as it has, mainly because they are aware that there is much fun to be had in the poker arena and it is at the tip of their fingers. Land based casinos are aware of the draw of the internet and how convenient it is for them to play in their living room, so they are constantly looking for ways to entice players into their establishments.

The Naples-Fort Myers Greyhound Track is no different from any of the other land based casinos. But they have come up with something that is bound to be exciting, as well as paying out well. They are offering the chance to win $25,000 just for playing poker at their track.

The track will be awarding the poker payout on June 30th, so there is still plenty of time to take advantage of it. The track says that this is their version of a summer 2009 entertainment stimulus package. The $25,000 Poker Room contest is allowing any player with a full house or better anytime in June to be eligible for the drawings that will take place throughout the afternoon at the end of the month.

Five players will be chosen and they will play at 5 pm one hand of Texas Hold’em. The winner will take home the big prize of $20,000, with the second place winner taking home $2,000, third place taking home $1,500. Fourth and fifth players will take home $1,000 and $500 respectively.
