Final Poker This Weekend

This is going to be a fun and exciting weekend for Sky Poker. The Sky Poker UK Tour ends this weekend, and the Sky cameras will be there to record the whole thing. There will be side games with the presenters and analysts and when all the fun is done there will be a winner.

The £220 main event is being held at Dusk Till Dawn in Nottingham, and it will be a seep stack event with a £25,000 guarantee. The amount has already been surpassed, which means whoever takes the win will take home a large chunk of change for their troubles.

The poker site has also added in a social networking area to their site so that players and fans alike can comment on the way things are going. They can participate in the excitement of the event even if they can’t actually be there. They are going to have profile pages of the people playing, as well as blogs and friend lists for those who are looking to talk to each other. Think of it as the poker themed version of Facebook!

One of the more exciting things that will be going on is the fact that snooker legend and indisputable poker champion Steve Davis is going to host the poker show. Davis is going to have big poker names like Steve Sung, Roland De Wolfe, and Annette Obrestad calling in while he is hosting, which is going to make it even more fun.
