In just over
one month from now, the TV debut of the first season of the
Professional Poker Tour (PPT) will be on the Travel Channel. On
July 5, online poker players and poker enthusiasts from all over
will be able to see their favorite poker players on the TV in a
great TV program that covers the first season events.
WPT
Enterprises, Inc., just released the new PPT schedule for the
second season today. The second season schedule will begin in
September 2006. According to the newly released poker schedule,
the second season features a field of 265 poker players and one
new casino stop on the tour. The Borgata in Atlantic City, NJ
was added as the second season’s latest addition. In addition to
Borgata, the 4 PPT tourneys will be filmed at some of the
biggest and best casinos this country has to offer poker
players.
Included on
the list of casinos is the Foxwoods Resort Casino, the
well-known Southern California casino the Commerce Casino and
the famous Bellagio casino on the Vegas Strip.
The new
schedule for the high profile PPT features poker's leading pros
in a new and electrifying genre. The new schedule along with its
many fascinating poker players, many from online poker rooms,
will be sure to stir up the pot of excitement that follows this
tour. Drawn in by 4 separate free roll tourneys with a total of
$2 million in prize money supplied by the PPT, this tours
players and well known pros complete with fresh blood, will
provide hours of exciting play for themselves and the TV show’s
viewers.
Here is the
schedule we received:
From September
11-12, the tour will be at the Borgata in Atlantic City, NJ. The
final table will play out on the 20thg of September there.
From November
7-8, the tour will be at the Foxwoods Casino in Mashantucket,
CT. The final table there will take place on the 15th
of November.
From November
29-30 the tour will stop ion at the Bellagio in Las Vegas, NV.
That final table gets underway on the 20th of
December.
From February
12-13, the tour makes its way to Southern California’s Commerce
Casino. The final table there takes place on March 6th.
As far as tour
participants go, new PPT players like Gavin Smith, Michael
Mizrachi, Joe Bartholdi Tuan Le and more will take a shot at
their part of the action.
Also, we will
see such hot shots as Joseph Hachem, Patrik Antonius, Al
Ardebili, Andrew Black, Alex Brenes, Steven Dannenmann, Michael
