Poker Stars Gets Deal

World Poker Tour Enterprises – or WPT Enterprises – pleased to announce that they had signed a deal for the first international television sponsorship deal and it is for their WPT Season VII. The deal will give them exclusive gaming sponsorship of selected broadcasts in Europe and the Americas.

This is a big deal for the company, who is creator of the World Poker Tour and Poker Stars. They are easily one of the world’s largest pker companies, if not the largest of all. This deal is going to allow them to get title sponsorship, as well as brand integration and in show educational or gaming sites. They will cover those shows that air in places like Canada, Germany, Italy and the Netherlands.

They will also be able to control the content in Latin America, making it an even better deal for the company. They will be able to create Spanish/Portuguese programs for their residents that will not only show them a great game but will help them improve upon their existing game. These deals serve to not only give the greater control over what happens there, but they also get to let them show the other countries what they can do in terms of marketing and branding.

This will allow them to grow their branding into other countries and perhaps be able to expand even more as time goes on. From the viewpoint of the countries, it also allows them to see poker playing like they may not have been able to before.
