Titan Poker showed its mettle this week with an amazing poker tournament that they offered their players. The poker site offered a $2,500,000 Guaranteed poker tournament to their players and was thrilled to see that one of their players won it. The poker room player “Ragan” came in first place at the tournament, making the online poker site very proud.

Ragan was playing in the poker tournament for thirteen hours and twenty eight minutes and walked away with $525,000 – which is a pretty decent hourly wage. Ragan has been a poker player at the site for about two years, having signed up in May of 2007. The second place player did pretty well also, going home with $275,000.

The final hand was between Ragan and gwka where Ragan had the Ace of Spades and Ten of Hearts and went all in. Gwka went all in before the flop, which brought a pair of kings and a four. Finally there was an Ace of Clubs which sealed the win for Ragan. The poker tournament has been running since March 8th, with a total of 1,370 players participating.

The poker tournament had buy-ins as low as $2.75 + $0.20 which made it really accessible for the other players. This lets more players participate, which makes for a better and more exciting tournament. If you ask your average poker player, they will tell you that if you have a lower buy in you will get more interesting players, which makes the game a lot of fun.
