Eastgate and Demidov are Now Teammates
April 15, 2009
It is truly interesting how life comes around like it does. To think that
two poker players, who went head to head to win one of the biggest name
poker tournaments in the industry could now be working together is
interesting and surprising at best. But that is exactly what it going on
over at PokerStars.
Peter Eastgate and Ivan Demidov went head to head last year for the 2008
World Series of Poker Main Event in November, are now working together as
teammates for the poker site. Both men have joined Team PokerStars Pro and
could not be happier about it.
Demidov says that he is thrilled to be part of the team with all of the
“other great players” that are on it. He says that not only does it allow
him to play at more events in more places, but that it is really great to
play offline as well. Eastgate, who is the youngest WSOP Main Event winner
in history says that he is also really enjoying it. He says that although he
is making really big money lately he is being very careful with his wins and
investing it so that it lasts him a long time.
Both are online poker players, who then moved to the big game and live
events. Both are going to be playing EPT San Remo and the EPT Grand Final in
Monte Carlo as well. Then both will head to Las Vegas for the 2009 World
Series of Poker.
