Party Poker Expects to Come
Back
March
14, 2009
According to a Party Poker
executive, they expect that it is just a matter of time before they are able
to offer online poker to their clients in the United States again. The poker
site says that between the recent court rulings that have been going on and
the push for legalizing online gambling, they believe that poker will soon
be coming to a computer near you.
The poker site has seen its numbers steadily increasing, especially since
Obama took office. They know that more people have a confidence in online
poker and gambling becoming legal again and are already signing on to what
they feel is an inevitable conclusion. They say that they think the work
that Rep. Barney Frank is doing to get it legalized again is wonderful and
are looking forward to the day he is successful – which they feel is in the
“not too distant future.”
The online poker company is one of few companies that showed a profit last
year, and a nice one at that. They had an average of 1,494 new players
signing up every day, with an average of 51,000 active poker players on the
site each day as well. They say that they offer a quality poker playing
experience, as well as a great reputation and impeccable customer service,
so it comes as no surprise to them that people would jump on the opportunity
to play there.
The poker site said that the next year is going to prove to be very
interesting indeed for the industry.
