Full Tilt Poker Getting Ready for 2009 WSOP

Full Tilt Poker has long been known as the place to go for poker promotions, especially those that are following the World Series of Poker. With the 2009 WSOP all but started at this point, the poker site is gearing up for their promotions, etc. that they offer to go along with the tournament.

They are offering the $10 Million Main Event Mania promotion again this year – which players really like. The deal is that if you qualify for the poker event through their online poker site, if you go on to win the tournament Full Tilt Poker will give you another $10 million on top of your winnings.

This is the fifth year that the bonus has been offered to those that qualify from their site, and in 2007 Lee Watkinson came close to getting the bonus. He made it to the final table, but busted out in eighth place – but so far he has been the closest. It would be interesting to see someone win that money!

They are running shootout tournaments with the top prize being the $12,000 Main Event prize package. The poker site is also offering other chances for that prize package through their weekly qualifying tournaments – which will run five times a week. They are also running their 150 Seat Guarantee tournament that says that the top 150 finishers will also get the Main Event Package – to the tune of $1.8 million paid out on that poker tournament alone. They will also offer their daily “Race for the Bracelet” tournaments – which you can win $2,000 at.
