PokerPages.com launches new online TV show

Many of us online poker players also like watching anything to do with poker on TV. Now, we have the opportunity to watch a new poker show right on our computers. Online poker and online TV all in one is a great thing. This way we can catch the latest online casino tips or poker tips while watching a program right on our computers.  

The new show we are talking about is PokerPages.com’s Real Deal.  Many of you online casino game players already know that Poker Pages is a great place to get live updates on poker tourneys we can’t see on TV live. Now, the same site is launching The Real Deal, a monthly TV Show, seen online at PokerPages.com.

The first Real Deal program, viewable by accessing PokerPages.com, will showcase updates from the last month in poker and interviews with some of poker's most influential people and poker pro players. This will be just like watching the news on TV, but it will all be about poker and you can watch it on your computer.

The host of the monthly program is Mark Adams. He said that the new show is a key tool for any poker player. He added that the show is perfect for those of us who want to keep up with what is going on in the world of poker. We think of it as getting all the highlights from the past 30 days in 30 minutes.

In the first show we can expect to see an interview with actor/poker player Jason Alexander, we all know him from his portrayal of lovable George Costanza on Seinfeld. Alexander will discuss his recent poker victory and talk about the pro that helped him get a leg-up playing poker.

We will also see Steve Lipscomb, President and CEO of the World Poker Tour on the first show – along with William Waldrop, President and CEO of the International Poker Association.

Additionally, we will see a chat session with Allen Geohring on the first program. He is the winner of the WPT's LA Poker Classic, and who currently is posted in 3rd place in the race for the 2006 PokerPages.com ProRank Player of the year.

Last but not least, professional gambler Bob Stupak, will talk about his one million dollar victory from just won bet he made at the Stratosphere Casino in Vegas. This was a legendary move to say the least. Other pros will be chatting as well.
