PPA Makes Big Announcement
February 3, 2010
The Poker Players Alliance is pleased to announce Dianna Donofrio as their
Nevada State Director. The poker group says that they have more than a
million members and they could not be happier that Donofrio is now going to
be one of their leaders. The poker organization works to save the political
protection of the rights of Americans to play poker online, and has worked
tirelessly to get eh Unlawful Internet Gambling Enforcement Act or UIGEA
overturned.
As the State Director of Nevada, Donofrio will be working at both the state
and national level to get those poker rights reinstated. Former New York
Senator Alfonse D’Amato said that they were thrilled to be able to have her
as part of their team, and knew that she would strengthen their poker
efforts.
She was chosen from more than one thousand applicants to fill the poker
spot, and having more than 25 years of experience in the poker industry
definitely helped her land it. She also made her name as Special Projects
Manager for what would become the Legends of Poker, further solidifying her
reputation within the poker industry. She also worked at one of the best
know places in the poker industry – the Four Queens – and oversaw the Four
Queens Classic. This led to a long and illustrious career in the poker
industry.
The Poker Players Alliance said that her reputation speaks for itself, and
they could not think of a better person for the job. Not only is she a great
person, but really understands the poker industry inside and out. They
expect that she will be a formidable opponent in the quest to have online
poker legalized and regulated.
