North Las Vegas has Something to Offer

When you think of Las Vegas you think of the glittering lights of the Strip and the amazing places that run along it. You think of the shows and of the gambling, and you think how lucky you are to be there in the midst of all that excitement. However, you probably don’t think about North Las Vegas or the fact that it really is treated like the red headed step child of the state.

When you say that you are going to North Las Vegas people initially think that you have made a mistake and that you meant somewhere else. Most don’t understand why you would ever want to go somewhere like that – they say it is dirty, it has more crime, and that you would be crazy to head up there. However, they couldn’t be more wrong.

North Las Vegas is the home to the Poker Palace and it is a great reason to visit. The area surrounding the poker room is depressing at best, and it seems like the absolute worst place on earth to put a poker room. But you will be in for an absolute treat if you allow yourself to visit it, for it is one of the best poker rooms around. Not only can you get a great meal while you are on your way to the poker room, but you will get an incredible gaming experience as well.

For those that are not interested in poker, it actually does offer a lot of other things besides poker, and even though the name would suggest otherwise, it actually has very little poker to offer. Thankfully it is some good poker. In fact, if you aren’t lucky enough to catch the only cash game on Friday or Saturday nights you are out of luck. So if you find yourself there on those days and want a little poker action it is worth the trip.
