Dream Team Poker Coming Back

According to Dream Team Poker they are going to be hosting another poker tournament this year because the last one was so very popular. They said that last year’s poker tournament went so well that they are going to offer a second team poker event March 27th through the 29th at Caesars Palace Las Vegas.

Changing this year though, anyone will be able to play team poker for cash and prizes. Last year it was a private event, but this year the buy in will be $500+$50 and they expect to get around 300 players. This means that they will have roughly 100 teams of three, and they will compete for the $150,000 prize pool.

The beauty of the poker tournament allows players to compete by themselves and as a team, so they have two different ways of winning cash. Those players that don’t do well within their team, but their team does well will still win money even though they may have busted out. The team that won the poker tournament last year took home $39,000 for first place as well as championship rings worth more than $5,000 a piece.

Each team will get custom jerseys, a welcome gift, welcome party, and discount hotel rates. The top five teams will take home anywhere from $4,500 to $45,000 depending on their place in line. The 18th place individual player is the first payout at $600 and then they go up from there with the top player taking home $20,400.
