Facebook and Poker

It seems to be that the Facebook generation has taken over the MySpace
generation – especially when you hear comments regarding Facebook as being
the “new” MySpace. It seems that people who did not get involved in MySpace
have embraced Facebook by the dozens. I for one never understood the draw of
MySpace, but I now check my Facebook page all the time.
The people who create Facebook know that they have a good product, and they
know that with all products you have to create things to make that product
stay relevant or you will go away. Knowing this, they have embraced the
online gambling age by creating poker games for Facebook players.
Poker, and gin rummy, and a whole slew of other card games are now coming
online for those who want to participate via their Facebook page. RM Royal
Media is the creator behind the latest of these which is RummyRoyal.com.
This site is perfect for those who embrace the Facebook age but want to try
something different from regular poker. Rummy itself has never done very
well online, but with the choices for poker players out there, many of them
are now turning to Rummy for something different.
RummyRoyal.net is a play for fun platform created by the same people, only
this one lets you enjoy it for free. You can connect to it through Facebook
which is one of the real plusses of the game, and that means that you don’t
have to download anything. Oh, and yes, they are working on a link to
MySpace as well, but it might take a bit longer.
