Best Damn Poker is Coming Back

For you poker lovers out there, the Best Damn Poker Show is coming back for a second season and will be debuting on January 12th. This comes hot on the heels of several other poker shows and tournaments that have just ended, keeping poker players in the know and full of places to check out their favorite game.

The World Poker Tour just kicked off their seventh season, Poker After Dark just kicked off their fifth season, and GSN’s High Stakes Poker has kicked off their fifth season as well. Now the Best Damn Poker show is having their kick off with the first of seven new episodes to air of the very popular poker show.

The poker show is sponsored by UltimateBet.net and has Annie Duke and Phil Hellmuth at the helm. The show starts with 24 poker hopefuls and works it way down to one ultimate poker player. Each week someone else is sent home, and those who watch the show get to see the mistakes that they make while playing poker and what they can do to improve their own poker game.

The best part of it though it watching Duke and Hellmuth battle it out to see who can create the better poker player. Each week they go up against each other in the form of their pupils, who not only get to play lots of poker, but they get to learn from two of the best out there today. According to them they are taking “ordinary” poker players and making them into “champions” basically before your very eyes. If you like poker, this is the one to watch.
