Poker After Dark

NBC has announced the players for their weekly Poker After Dark Episodes. This show is popular among poker players as it runs high stakes cash poker games as well as six man tournaments that are just as exciting as being at the live game. The show is usually composed of some of the best poker players out there today – namely World Poker Tour winners.

The show is usually on in the late hours of the evening, or very early morning depending on your perspective – hence the name. This season will be its fifth, and it shows no signs of stopping as poker players love watching these games to get tips and ideas from watching how the professionals do it.

This season, they are running both new shows and old ones for the poker player watchers. They have chosen some of the most popular shows from previous seasons and are going to intersperse them with the new episodes from the current season. January is only running one new show which will have Phil Hellmuth and Phil Gordon on deck. The rest of the month will have these encore shows that will feature the above two gentlemen as well as a slew of other popular players. They will even have a gathering of the veterans of the Mayfair Club.

February will start with an old episode but will then show a slew of new poker games after that. They are hosting some old favorite poker players and having them do battle with those that are a little newer to the game.
