A classic Atlantic City casino resort, this Hilton was originally operated as the Golden Nugget in Atlantic City. The property has been awarded the prestigious Four Diamond status from AAA – ten years in a row. Currently operated by Colony Capital, the Hilton has refocused itself as a casino player’s casino. The casino has recently undergone massive changes including new table games and slots. A constant top performing steakhouse, the Oaks Steakhouse is a well established crowd favorite.

This casino resort has a fantastic 1,200 person entertainment theater that has hosted a long list of top performers. This summer, a new Dizzy Dolphin Bar will cater to those looking for a nautical theme libation hang out. This resort boasts some of the best views of the Boardwalk from any casino property.

Casino Offerings

Even though the Hilton in Atlantic City has one of the smaller casinos in the city, it wastes no space to bring its customers what they want to play. This is the casino for table game players. You will not see thousands of slots here. There are many, but not an overwhelming amount. The serious gambler will feel right at home here. The already mentioned Oaks Steakhouse (great steaks and cuts of meat and seafood), Caruso’s (Italian/Tuscan) this place has a great brunch on Sundays, Peregrine’s (gourmet), Empress Garden (an Asian theme with sweeping Ocean views), Horizon’s Café (open 24/7), the Cornucopia (an appropriately named buffet), Empress Gem (noodle bar inside the Asian theme gaming area).

Entertainment

Along with the previously stated 1,200 person showroom, the Hilton boasts a fantastic schedule of entertainers at its outdoor stage area during summer months. This casual atmosphere is great for partying in the great weather and even after dark. Be sure to check out the Hilton Beach Bar in this area. It is one of the most popular bars in Atlantic City in the summertime.

Spas

The Hilton has one of the top few spas in the city. This wonderfully relaxing environment includes an outrageously huge pool area (9,000 sq. ft.) that provides a tropical vibe enclosed by a glass roof, Opulent to say the least. This is the perfect alternative to the hustle and bustle of any casino. When you are lounging in the spa’s pool area, look up at the frescoes and interesting decorative ceiling along with the glass roof. This spa includes a relaxing sun deck, too.
